Abstract:

SharePoint 2010 can be installed in two ways-using a wizard or using Windows PowerShell. With the wizard, you will have to go through a couple of various steps that will help you configure your SharePoint 2010 installation.

However, using Windows PowerShell when installing SharePoint 2010 will not only give you more options to control the setup, but it will also allow you to reuse the code over and over again, achieving the exact same result.
