So much more than just Copilot – Exploring the ESPC25 Tracks

Every year, when we build the ESPC agenda, we focus on more than just themes or hot topics; we build around the real-life needs of professionals working across Microsoft 365, Azure, AI, and the Power Platform. That’s why the ESPC25 program is structured into clearly defined tracks: each one packed with relevant, actionable content tailored to different roles and challenges.

Let’s start with Azure. From advanced architecture principles and hybrid cloud strategies to performance, scaling, and governance with Azure AI services, this track digs deep into what it takes to build and operate in the cloud, especially as projects grow from MVPs to enterprise-scale systems.

Then there’s Copilot and AI in the Workplace, a track that captures how organizations are actually rolling out AI. These sessions aren’t fluffy. They explore real use cases, security strategies, adoption challenges, and how developers can extend Copilot with tools like Copilot Studio and Teams Toolkit.

Data, AI & Analytics is where you’ll find sessions on Microsoft Fabric, ETL workflows, and data visualization with Power BI. If you’re interested in using your data more effectively, or making it accessible, clean, and useful, this track brings both technical depth and practical examples.

The Developer + AI Innovation track is exactly what it sounds like. You’ll find some of the most forward-looking content here: Building custom AI agents, using the Semantic Kernel, integrating OpenAI with Teams, and designing scalable solutions across Microsoft 365.

IT Admin and Management has always been a strong area for ESPC, and this year is no exception. Expect hands-on sessions covering everything from tenant-to-tenant migration to Entra ID governance, automation with PowerShell, VPN alternatives, and best practices for secure, scalable deployments.

In the Modern Work & Collaboration track, the spotlight is on intranets, content services, and user engagement. But it’s not just theory, you’ll see real-life examples of what works, what doesn’t, and how AI is starting to change the way we think about communication and knowledge sharing.

The Power Platform + Business Solutions track is packed with governance strategies, performance tuning, and automation use cases. These sessions are perfect for both low-code makers and platform architects looking to scale responsibly and build apps users actually want to use.

Security, Compliance & Governance is one of the most fast-moving areas in tech, and this track keeps pace. You’ll get hands-on insight into managing insider threats, securing Copilot deployments, tackling data classification, and keeping your Microsoft 365 environment in check.

Finally, the AI Strategy, Ethics & Governance track is where we zoom out a bit. These sessions explore how we define and measure AI success, what ethical AI looks like in practice, and how to approach governance in an era of constant change.

And of course, there’s our Inspire Stage, with stories and conversations that focus on the human side of tech: leadership, communication, growth – be inspired!

All together, these tracks form the backbone of ESPC25. They reflect the complexity of our roles, the diversity of our projects, and the shared ambition to keep learning, solving, and building what’s next.
