Category: Apps

Lifewire.com describes the word “app” as an abbreviation for “application.” It’s a piece of software that can run through a web browser or offline on your computer, and on a smartphone phone, tablet or other electronic devices, including smart TVs and smartwatches. Apps may or may not have a connection to the internet.

App is a modern term for software application, and it is most often used in reference to a mobile app or a small piece of software that runs on a website. It’s typically used to describe anything that isn’t a full-fledged software program, but even that line has become blurred.

Therefore, the Apps category is blurred too, but is full of handy tips, tricks and advise. Check out some of the Step by Step blogs or learn with our eBooks, How To videos and Webinars.
