According to Microsoft, “Office 365” refers to subscription plans that include access to Office applications plus other productivity services that are enabled over the Internet (cloud services). Office 365 includes plans for use at home and for business.

In an earlier article I discussed SharePoint Mobile and the range of options for developing mobile SharePoint solutions ranging from responsive web design to building native apps for each platform. Here’s another update, and this time we’re going to focus just on apps. But it’s still an enormous topic which is constantly and rapidly changing as new products, tools and frameworks come out on an almost weekly basis. Mobile is the next big thing for business now that the Bring Your Own Device genie is out of the bottle, and they probably don’t just want a web site – they want an app!
