The modern intranet, often called the Digital Workplace, is an application with a high level of ambition to facilitate daily work for users wherever they are, whenever they want and on any device. But to succeed, a change of approach is required. Previously this required heavy investments developing bespoke solutions, but today it is about using standard products with a set framework, rich on built in standard functionality, easy to deploy and that delivers a great user experience.
