Copilot Studio agents don’t have to be monoliths. In this session we’ll show how to build modular, enterprise-ready agents by extending Copilot Studio with two open standards: Agent2Agent (A2A) for agent-to-agent delegation and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for adding tools, resources, and prompt templates from external servers.
We’ll show when to use each, how makers can wire them in safely, and what architects must define (contracts, ownership, versioning, security boundaries). You’ll leave with a reference pattern: Front-door Copilot → Specialist agents → MCP tools, plus a checklist to avoid tool sprawl and brittle implementations.
