Sharing Code Efficiently in Your Organisation by Creating Private Packages

Writing lots of code is what we as developers love to do. We write so much code, but we also reuse a lot of it. In every project you will have some common logic, but how do you share this common logic in those projects? Do you currently copy and paste it to every project? If that is the case, you need to know that there is a better way. Even from a maintainability standpoint. Can you keep track of what is used where? Do you know which project is using the latest version?

Together we will look for a better way by making use of Azure DevOps Artifacts to create private packages and start sharing them in your team/organisation. In this session we start by creating a new private package for common code, show how you can automate the build process and end by installing them in your projects. Do you want to stop spending time looking though projects where you reused parts of your code and start sharing it the right way? Then join this session and learn what Azure DevOps Artifacts has to offer.

Benefits of Attending this Session:

  1. No more copy and pasting
  2. Learn how to share code efficiently
  3. Keep track of where your packages are used
