Microsoft Teams is a workspace built on the groups, calendars, chat, messaging, plans, and video conferencing, along with new and upcoming features for knowledge, learning, resources, and insights (Viva). All these elements of Microsoft 365 are brought together in a single app surface that allows teams to work together without having to switch context between different applications. We can use Microsoft Teams extensions to build on top of this and add our own UI using a number of extension points, giving a complete employee experience.
We’ll see how we can use our existing skills to give users access to their data in Microsoft 365 right inside Teams. These development options open up endless possibilities for building employee experience solutions tailored to industries or organizations.
