How To Configure Regional Settings of a Site in SharePoint 2016

Your company may have offices located in different regions across the globe. You can configure your SharePoint Site to work with the right time zone and the preferred calendar. You need to be a Site Collection administrator or the Site owner to be able to choose and change the regional settings of a Site.

Settings include:

  • Time zone;
  • Local;
  • Calendar;
  • Alternate calendar;
  • Work week;
  • And time format.

To access the settings page, just go to Site Settings and you’ll see Regional Settings link under Site Administration heading.

Remember, every user of the Site has the ability to change the regional settings to reflect their own personal preference. These settings will override your Site-level settings.
