How to Connect a Calendar List to Microsoft Outlook in SharePoint 2016

Using a SharePoint site calendar allows everyone who has permission to view and modify it.
To avoid the back-and-forth between SharePoint and Outlook, connect the calendar list to your inbox environment.
After the connection, your existing Outlook calendar and the SharePoint calendar will be displayed side by side.
This allows you to conveniently manage all your calendars in one place.
You can perform all the common actions to the connected calendar; you can edit, copy,
or delete. All the changes that you make to the calendar in Outlook will be reflected in
SharePoint and vice versa.

The short video above shows the steps.

This video is a help item from VisualSP, the plug-and-play add-on application that
provides end-users with context-sensitive instant help at the moment of need,
automating training and support for SharePoint and Office 365.
