Michael Greth lives in Berlin, Germany, and is a well-known speaker, author, consultant and trainer for Microsoft SharePoint Technologies since 2001. He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for 17 years and leader of the German SharePointCommunity.de and on the Top 25 European SharePoint Influencers for 2014 list. He was part of the Programme Team of the European SharePoint Conferences 2011, 2013, and 2014.

He specialises in SharePoint as a Social Business platform and helping customers to get more value out of their SharePoint implementation. Michael hosts SharePointPodcast.de, the biweekly audio update for SharePoint users. This podcast runs for almost 10 years and is one of the oldest podcasts in Germany.  Other activities are the video magazine SharePointSendung.de and the German-Swiss-podcast SharepoCalypse.de with Chris Müller. He is also blogging since 2003 about SharePoint and stuff.
