W29 – We’ll begin the session by taking a look at the prosand cons of storing data in SharePoint lists and libraries. we’ll
examine the standard data entry forms and welcome SharePoint
Designer and InfoPath to the party as serious “”information
worker”” tools for improving the user experience. We will then
explore some of the alternatives including Business Connectivity
Services (BCS) and consider the real costs associated with
developing solutions in SharePoint.
All the information presented in this session has been taken
from a real world project where much consideration was given to how
and where to best store information, a vital step in any SharePoint
project no matter how big or small.
