Tooling to unpack Power Apps canvas apps into source code files and to pack the files into working app again was introduced in January 2021. The newly added experimental feature to integrate your canvas app authoring experience with GitHub takes the developer experience even further. I will demonstrate the tooling and discuss how it affects the DevOps of Power Apps canvas apps. I will show how you can take advantage of the tooling in you DevOps pipelines. You will see how to enable multiple developers to work on the same app at the same time. I will also demonstrate some neat tricks with the source code files e.g. to add automatic version labels.
