Charla is the Principal Design Manager for Power Automate.  She has been innovating with technology for 27 years professionally and has been in love with experimentation and storytelling from early childhood.  Her first works were created for both paper and 2D screens in the startup days of the internet.  When she joined Microsoft 15 years ago, she successfully shipped Office 365and her journey continued into designing robotic interfaces, working with Microsoft Research on reinventing 3D painting, and experiences in mixed and virtual reality.

She is now designing using AI and Copilot to create trustworthy human-centered experiences that solidify Power Automate as the leader in AI-first automation. Her true passion is to invent using true stories, design through experimentation, and create products that empower others to imagine what is possible.
