How to Get to Austria Center Vienna?
The Austria Center Vienna (ACV) is well-connected and can be reached through various modes of transportation.
Vienna International Airport
Vienna International Airport (VIE), also known as Flughafen Wien-Schwechat, is the primary international gateway to Vienna and is well-equipped to facilitate easy access to the Austria Center Vienna (ACV).
Distance: Vienna International Airport is approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) southeast of the Austria Center Vienna.
Travel Time: The journey from the airport to the ACV typically takes about 20-30 minutes by car, taxi, or ridesharing service, depending on traffic conditions.
From Vienna International Airport (VIE)
S-Bahn (S7 Line):
- Step 1: Take the S7 commuter train from Vienna International Airport to Wien Praterstern station.
- Step 2: At Wien Praterstern, transfer to the U1 subway line in the direction of Leopoldau.
- Step 3: Get off at Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
- Step 4: The ACV is a short walk from the Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
Total Travel Time: Approximately 40-50 minutes.
City Airport Train (CAT):
- Step 1: Take the CAT from Vienna International Airport to Wien Mitte/Landstraße station. The CAT journey takes about 16 minutes.
- Step 2: At Wien Mitte/Landstraße, transfer to the U1 subway line in the direction of Leopoldau.
- Step 3: Get off at Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
- Step 4: The ACV is a short walk from the Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
Total Travel Time: Approximately 30-35 minutes.
From Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof)
Subway (U-Bahn):
- Step 1: Take the U1 subway line from Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station) in the direction of Leopoldau.
- Step 2: Get off at Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
- Step 3: The ACV is a short walk from the Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre station.
Total Travel Time: Approximately 15-20 minutes.

Directions from Vienna International Airport (VIE)
- Exit the Airport:
- Follow signs to leave the airport and get on the A4 motorway towards Vienna.
- Take the A4 Motorway:
- Drive on the A4 for approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles).
- Merge onto the A23 Motorway:
- Take the exit toward the A23 motorway (Donauufer Autobahn) in the direction of Kagran/Brigittenau.
- Exit at Vienna International Centre (VIC):
- Take exit 2 toward Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen. Follow signs for Vienna International Centre.
- Follow the Signs to Austria Center Vienna:
- After exiting, follow the signs to the Austria Center Vienna. The venue is well-signposted.
- Parking:
- The ACV has a large underground parking garage with over 1,000 spaces. Access the garage via Donau-City-Strasse or Schüttaustrasse. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the parking facilities.

- Get on the A23 Motorway:
- From the city center, drive towards the A23 motorway (Donauufer Autobahn).
- Take the A23 North:
- Head north on the A23 towards Kagran/Vienna International Centre.
- Exit at Vienna International Centre (VIC):
- Take exit 2 toward Vienna International Centre/Kaisermühlen. Follow signs for Vienna International Centre.
- Follow the Signs to Austria Center Vienna:
