Under the banner of ‘continuous improvement’ a constant flow of updates appears for the Microsoft 365 platform. Many of these changes have a complaince or governance impact. Over the last eighteen months, Microsoft has made some major changes to how Sharepoint online manages and retains files that affect governance and retention. In this session, we cover three of the most significant changes – intelligent versioning, priority cleanup, and a major revision to eDiscovery – and discuss what these changes mean for the information governance strategy in Microsoft 365 tenants. We will also cover how to take advantage of these features.
