Top Things to Do in Dublin

Welcome to Dublin, a city where centuries-old history meets modern innovation. Whether you’ve got a few hours between sessions or plan to extend your stay, Dublin offers unforgettable experiences right on your doorstep. Here are the top 10 things to do in Dublin during your visit this December:

TwinkleTown – Smithfield Square

TwinkleTown at Smithfield Square is a large-scale Christmas winter festival and funfair rather than a traditional market.

Running from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 in Dublin 7, it combines an ice rink, Ferris wheel and fairground rides with a Spiegeltent hosting the “Santo Panto and the Magic Present Machine” and other family entertainment.

On top of that, there are food, drink and gift stalls, creating a full evening out where you can skate, hit the rides, catch a show and pick up some festive treats in one place.
