As always happens in December, there has been an outpouring of requests for bylines and interviews on what I thought were the biggest moments for SharePoint and the broader Microsoft space in 2013, and my predictions for 2014.

For me personally the content that I would like to highlight is all of the content on the European SharePoint Community site.
Given my history with education and the friendships that have built up over the years I had to include this one.
I found this really difficult to compile as you read so many blog posts that are absolutely brilliant at the time as they answer a question or help resolve a problem.
Alan has been working with SharePoint since 2005 and in that time has deployed in a number of education establishments in the UK and also in some large multinational organisations.
SharePoint has once again landed Microsoft in the leaders section of Gartner’s “magic quadrant” for enterprise content management, an achievement described in an article from CMSWire.
