Scott Hanselman is a web developer who has been blogging at https://hanselman.com for over a decade. He works in Open Source on.NET and the Azure Cloud for Microsoft out of his home office in Portland, Oregon. Scott has three podcasts, https://hanselminutes.com for tech talk, http://thisdeveloperslife.com on developers’ lives and loves, and http://friday.azure.com on Cloud technology. He’s written a number of books and spoken in person to almost a half million developers worldwide.

Tejas Dixit, Director

Azure Business Group
Tejas Dixit leads the world-wide ISV/ IP strategy efforts for the Azure platform and is responsible for building a thriving ecosystem of IP partners building applications on Azure. During his tenure at Microsoft, Tejas has had the opportunity to work across services and product businesses and believes in the power of enabling partners and customers to achieve more through the Azure platform. In his past, Tejas had founded two startups; focused on helping customers scale their client centricity and social media marketing efforts. Tejas lives in pacific northwest and enjoys everything it offers. Prague is one of his favorite cities 😊

Alex Simons

Corporate Vice President of Program Management in Microsoft’s Identity Division

Alex Simons is a Corporate Vice President of Program Management in Microsoft’s Identity Division. He is responsible for the vision, priorities and feature sets for Azure Active Directory, Windows Server Active Directory, the Microsoft account service and Microsoft Identity Manager.

A long time Microsoftee, Alex joined the company as an intern in 1992 and has worked as a Program Manager in wide variety of enterprise and consumer businesses, including starting and launching the Microsoft Dynamics CRM business and shipping Windows 7.

Alex joined the Identity Division in January of 2012 and is responsible for driving Microsoft’s business and consumer identity strategy and product plans. Alex speared headed Microsoft’s rapid shift to building cloud based identity and security services including creating the vision and direction for Azure AD Premium. He is also a vocal champion inside and outside Microsoft for supporting open standards and 3rd party platforms.

Miri Rodriguez

Storyteller and Head of Global Internship Program at Microsoft

Miri Rodriguez is a globally recognised Storyteller and Head of Global Internship Program at Microsoft. She is a creative journalist and content advocate, evangelizing brand narrative and showcasing how Microsoft employees and partners can leverage Microsoft Storytelling techniques for their own success. Miri has earned several awards in digital marketing and customer experience and is ranked as top in-demand speaker at leading industry conferences around the world. Miri brings 15+ years of expertise, valuable industry insights and a lighthearted approach. Her social advocacy and philanthropic work include volunteering to train social enterprise leaders in Swaziland and Morocco through #MySkills4Afrika, coaching students at Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, content contributor at Trade+Impact and PR News, and mentoring men and women to build their personal brand. Her biggest accomplishment to date is being a mother of 2 boys and an American Bulldog. She can also run in heels. Ice cream is her superfood.

Vesa Juvonen

Vesa Juvonen

Principal Program Manager at SharePoint Engineering

Vesa Juvonen is a Principal Program Manager at SharePoint engineering. Prior to this, he worked as a SharePoint CAT team member in CXP and as a Principal Consultant within Microsoft Services for 8 years before moving to the product group. Vesa was also SharePoint MCM (Microsoft Certified Master) instructor for the life cycle of the program and is considered an industry expert on SharePoint development. He currently works in the team which owns SharePoint Framework, SharePoint development techniques and APIs.  Vesa also leads the virtual team which created the SharePoint Patterns and Practice (PnP) initiative to help customers and partners to learn right ways to customize and extend SharePoint and Office 365.
