Final day at the conference and a keynote about powerBI and SharePoint. The keynote is given by @rafaldotnet, one of the best speakers I know. He starts his keynote with the story of Dr. John Snow who was the first who plotted data on a map to show the correlation of cholera and a contaminated water pump.

The first day of the conference is almost over. The conference started with 2 keynote that gave us an overview of the SharePoint and Cloud roadmap of Microsoft. Is it really interesting how a big company like Microsoft is evolving these days. They almost look like a startup.
Here is my summary of European SharePoint Conference 2014 in Barcelona day 1.
A strategy is the foundation for any governance practice. It’s as simple as that. For SharePoint that is particularly true, as only a very few people is really able to clearly define what SharePoint is really about. The topic in this article is related to my talk at the European SharePoint Conference 2014: Implementing an operational SharePoint Governance Practice.
First out among this year’s 100+ breakout sessions was Jasper Oosterveld from the Netherlands with “External Collaboration with SharePoint Online and Yammer”.
