Capt. Frank Hickey is IT Operations Manager for the Defence Forces, headquartered in Dublin.

Frank leads a team of technicians that delivers many of the main IT applications and infrastructure used by the defence forces on a daily basis both at home and overseas. Frank was an early member of the IKON team and was heavily involved in the architecture design and build of the SharePoint platform for IKON.

Frank has served overseas on a number of occasions as communications officer. These include 2008 in Kosovo, 2009 in Chad, 2011 EU Nordic Battle Group and most recently an EU training mission to Somalia in 2013.
