companies, ALUMAX, Inc. was using a stand-alone solution and
application. This making it quite difficult to keep matters of
business organized, fully accessible, easy to work with, secure and
safe, as well as an overall efficient working manner right at the
office. There were multiple document files creating account
discrepencies with not having the most up-to-date version, endless
paper trails, business case document availabilities from any
location to search and retrieve were not available, and manual
typing that would cause more errors with data entry.

ALUMAX process case documents through a simplified document capture
and advanced image processing of documents with implementing
GRADIENT’s product – GScan Online.
GScan Online is a native SharePoint app that allowed the capture
of any document from virtually any device such (scanners, MFPs,
mobile phones, and even via cloud). ALUMAX was able to scan,
click-to-index OCR, and automatically index to SharePoint metadata
fields all in one neat place and put an end to paper trails, manual
typing, and human errors in data entry. A simple plug n’ play
feature into SharePoint supporting 23 languages over 180 OCR
languages.
